The ID-162VB/1.4 Implantable Mini Transponder in VetPlant™ Implanter is a miniature FDX-B compliant transponder, encapsulated in biocompatible glass for use in animal applications. Each transponder comes individually pre sterilized and packaged in a bubble pack. Each ID-162VB/1.4 transponder is ready for application, in its own single piece implanter, and with six adhesive labels featuring the transponder’s ID number in barcoded format and numeric characters.
The VetPlant™ Implanter provides tactile feedback when the transponder is about to move into the eye of the needle, which helps preclude premature extrusion. The Implanter provides a second tactile “click” when the transponder is fully extruded, so the operator knows “it’s ok to pull out the needle.” This feature precludes the transponder from coming back out with the needle. Once fully extruded, the push pin also locks in place at the point of maximum extrusion so it doesn’t suck the transponder back into the needle.
